With the aim of enhancing fan experience and increasing matchday revenue, Notts County FC creatively introduced a new bar housed in a repurposed shipping container at Meadow Lane. To ensure smooth operations and effortless transactions, Notts County enlisted the expertise of MCR Systems to implement a new EPOS solution within the facility.
MCR Systems installed eight state-of-the-art EPOS terminals equipped with interactive media screens and integrated payment devices, providing a robust solution to cater to the bustling crowds during home games.
The installation of the EPOS terminals was completed a few days before the home fixture against Bradford City on Saturday, November 18th. This allowed sufficient time for testing and training with the club’s team.
The installation was a huge success, with shorter queues and quicker transactions for their fans, plus increased revenue generation.
Following the initial project with Notts County, the football club decided to further enhance their matchday experience by ordering an additional ten terminals from MCR Systems for two new sections in the away end of Meadow Lane. These terminals were operational for the Boxing Day fixture against Doncaster Rovers.
