MCR were invited to the official launch event of LEat Street at the Leicester Royal Infirmary on 5th November along with Interserve board members, people from the NHS Trust and other suppliers and organisations that were involved in the making of LEat Street.
LEat Cateing is a service provided by Interserve who won the seven year contract to supply Leicester Hospitals which include the LRI, Leicester General and Glenfield hospitals. The LE represents the Leicestershire Post Code and this is a very deliberate and specific nod to the importance of how Interserve view their partnership with the local geography and the trust.
Interserve are responsible for delivering comprehensive facilities management services to the Trusts, including the delivery of catering, cleaning, maintenance and security across more than 550 NHS buildings and properties.
MCR were selected by Interserve to supply the EPOS system throughout all of the catering outlets across the three hospitals which included 20 SymPOS Tills with integrated Chip & PIN terminals, all networked to the MCR hosted Symphony Enterprise software providing central management of all POS functionality, such as products and prices. All sales information is delivered through Symphony Reporting with real time sales analysis and financial information, offering quantifiable added business value, allowing management to make informed decisions and implement tighter controls.
As well as the Leicester Hospitals contract, MCR Systems are delighted to be working closely with Interserve in rolling out Symphony across all of their other catering contracts.
